Our technology analyzes numerous sperm features and recognizes different kinematics, motility, and morphological aspects of spermatozoa. It then combines several parameters such as size, shape, ratio, and other characteristics of each sperm, and the Deep Convolutional Neural Network correlates all this data with sperm quality. Many of them are undetectable to the naked eye, even by experienced embryologists. Also, our “Spermatozoa Detector” detects sperm in severe oligozoospermia or azoospermia cases, where none were seen in standard semen analysis, and surgical procedures such as micro-TESE, TESA, PESA samples.

Sperm Tracer can be used in assisted reproduction clinics to optimize its results by helping in the sperm analysis during the ICSI process. It can measure motility parameters and also analyze the morphology of the selected sperm. Sperm motility measurement requires low magnification to have a large field of view.
In contrast, assessing morphology requires higher magnification to reveal finer details of the spermatozoa. Both motility and morphology can be evaluated either separately or together, providing a comprehensive assessment of semen quality tailored to the embryologist’s requirements.

In cases with immotile, very slow, or twitching movements, the embryologists can directly use the morphological option by using a higher magnification, based on the system setup.

It provides a full analysis, including both kinematics sperm patterns and morphology parameters. The total score is shown as a horizontal gradient color bar, including also the motility ranking.
