ReproScientific developed a solution that use AI & big data to improve ICSI outcomes through automation. Traditionally, skilled embryologists select sperm based on a variety of morphological and motility criteria and certainly without knowledge of membrane functional integrity and their DNA cargo.

Motility & Morphology

Today motility and morphology assessment is performed totally manual, with inherent subjectivity, inconsistency (intra-individual variability) and limitations based on user’s experience, training and skills. The currently CASA system used in labs are huge equipment, required train person to operate, very expensive with variation between inter-operator results and considerable amount of time for the analysis report.

Network

Our deep Neural Network (NN) architecture has been trained not only to select the best sperm based on kinematics motility patterns but also on characteristics such as morphology and sperm membrane properties, which helps to get a better idea about their DNA abnormalities.

The analysis

The analysis based on membrane characteristics and abnormal sperm chromatin are direct reflections of the overall outcomes. The whole process is totally compatible with the most fertility labs in the world, without the need of any additional equipment and most important can be performed in real-time for every single egg injection!!!
